Hurricane Original RAF Vintage Flight Jacket in Khaki

Somebody flew in this. That's not a marketing line, it's just true.

A genuine RAF-issue Hurricane flight jacket in khaki, pulled from service and given a second life. Not a reproduction, not "military-inspired". The real thing.

Built the way kit is built when someone's life depends on it. Downward zip front with an inside hook flap. 

Jacket features downwards zip up front closing with inside hook flap , two zip pouches on each side,  three pen pockets on each arm, adjustable cuff. Reinforced collar with enclosed zipped straps, netting arms with velcro webbing.

Arms are made from Ventile cotton. It's a densely woven long-staple cotton the RAF developed itself for flying and immersion kit. Feels like a heavy, tightly woven cotton, swells when wet to become waterproof.

Fit
Cut to original issue spec, so it wears oversized on a woman. Shoulders drop, sleeves run long, and it's meant to.

On condition
These were worn by RAF pilots, so expect minor wear. Scuffs, faded webbing, the odd mark. That's the provenance, not a fault, and it's the difference between this and something a factory made for you last month.
