Vintage Naval Breton T-Shirt Dress in Blue Stripe
The stripe was invented so a man overboard could be spotted in the water. Ours is for being spotted on land.
A genuine naval Breton, rescued from military surplus and remade as a t-shirt dress. Same cloth, same stripe, same reason it's lasted this long. It just does a different job now.
The marinière has been standard naval issue since the 1850s and has outlived roughly every trend that's tried to replace it. This one already survived a career at sea before we got to it.
